What’s in the Picture Bank
The Picture Bank is designed for the everyday lives of profoundly autistic people. The pictures are clear line drawings, and each picture is available in both black and white and colour. There is no ready-made text on the pictures, because the words should always be chosen according to the person who will be using them. You add your own text in the tool.
The topics cover everyday essentials: pain, communication, overload and regulation, food and drink, toileting and hygiene, structure, transitions and executive functioning, sensory support and everyday activities.
How to Use the Pictures
Search for a picture by keyword or browse by topic. Choose either the black-and-white or colour version. Add your own text underneath the picture.
Download an individual card as an image file or combine several cards onto an A4 sheet that you can print.
The tool works in both Finnish and English.
Terms of Use
The pictures are free to use in your own work and at home. You may print them, edit them, add your own text and share them with others, for example with colleagues, family members or a child’s school.
The pictures may not be sold as they are or used as part of a product that is sold.
